Loontjens Biljarts was founded in 1920 by Hectro Alidor Loontjens. Nowadays his grandson Rudy Loontjens is the president of the billiards division, with 20 employees working in different departments.

Through the years, Loontjens Biljarts has developed itself as the biggest billiard-retailer of the Netherlands and Belgium; As national distributor of Brunswick, Riley, Valley, Diamond and Deutscher Meister.
When Loontjens Biljarts acquired the Roothaert Billiard factory, Loontjens Biljarts also specialized in the production of carom billiards. After the acquisition of Gabriels Billiards in 2003, Loontjens Biljarts has become one of Europe's biggest billiard producers.


With so many different products, and our specialization in all disciplines, we can describe ourselves as one of the most versatile billiard-companies in Europe. All major brands are represented in our product range:

Brunswick: Regarding commercial tables Brunswick has always played an important role in the international pool scene.
Nowadays the Brunswick Metro is the official tournament-table for the most prestigious championships; the World Championships 9-ball, the Mosconi Cup, the World Cup of Pool and the World Pool Masters. Loontjens is very happy that several of these annual events recently have been staged in the Netherlands. An unique opportunity to stress the corporation between Loontjens Biljarts and Brunswick Billiards, a distributorship which started almost 20 years ago.

Diamond Billiards: When Diamond was founded their goal was clear: to create a standard for national and international tournament play. In 2007 the Diamond Pro Am table is used at an enormous number of events, as The US Open and the Derby City Classic.
With the current distributorship, Loontjens Biljarts is able to bring the US tournament standards to the European continent

Clash, a Loontjens Biljarts brand, has established itself as one of Europe's most popular commercial tables. The Clash Competition II has been the official table of many championships as the 2005 European Pool Championships, various Eurotours and the Annual German and Dutch championships. Riley: Loontjens Biljarts is the proud distributor of Riley Snookertables in the Netherlands since the beginning of the Golden Period in Dutch Snooker (80's and 90's). We can entitle ourselves as the Snooker expert in the Netherlands when it comes to installation and maintenance. Nowadays the crown jewel in the Riley Collection is Riley Aristocrat Tournament the table which is used at the famous annual World Championship staged at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield.

Roothaert is one of the most established names in the Dutch Billiard Industry. Founded in 1887 as A.P.C Roothaert, the Roothaert brand has adjusted itself to the newest generation. Styles and preferences of our customers have changed, from Baroque and French influences to the basic column model. Datetable and yet timeless; Roothaert tables have become classics.

The new generation of billiard tables still incorporate the old attractive features combined with outstanding and modern production techniques. This combination summarizes the Roothaert philosophy; We will never make any concessions regarding the highest quality standards.

Nowadays the Roothaert tables are available in the traditional Dutch playing size (230x115 cm.) The Roothaert tables are widespread, everyday numerous of leagues are played on the Roothaert tables. The Roothaert models are a reliable partner for all billiard-lovers. Varying from the demanding league player to the player who just want to spent some quality time with his billiard-friends; everybody knows the Roothaert tables.

Gabriels: If we take a closer look at the history of the Gabriels brand we have to go back to 1932: In Antwerp, belgium a talented billiard-player took an important decision: he started his own billiard factory; René Gabriels, a billiard player who gathered 7 Balk-line World Titles during his career, was the founder of Gabriels. Not being satisfied with the ever-changing equipment he had to play on, his goal was to develop a carom table that would set the standards for tournament play.
